Widgets
Below are four free website widgets I have created so far.
- The first is a weather widget. Sure there are a lot of weather widgets out there but this one matches visitor IP and gives your website visitors the weather forecast where they live. This widget is running at the bottom right..
- The second widget will allow you to follow a specific person in twitter
- The third widget will give you a constant updating stream of any twitter search of your choice. This widget is running at the lower right.
- The forth widget is an SEO widget. It will monitor deep searches – for example searches 20 to 100 in the Google rankings you come up for and display them. The goal is to eventually move these deep searches up the Google rankings since the keyword phrases will now be displaying on your site. I have this widget running at the lower right of this blog.
All widgets can be modified to fit your needs and the design of your website with a WYSIWYG widget designer.
Currently, PHP, ASP, and ASP.net versions are available, just select the code you need to use. Give a widget a try and let me know what you think.
Recommended: If you want to add my web site widgets to your WordPress widgets I suggest you download the PHP Code Widget plug-in it allows you to insert PHP code in a text like widget box and place it anywhere on your blog you wish. This widget works great.
