About

The Lessnau Lounge is the name of my first website I started in 1994 when I taught myself basic HTML and was playing around to see what I could actually create. It was an experimental site, however in many ways it was the start of my career on the web. I decided it was time to continue the legacy, besides, I think the name is pretty cool.

Back in 2003, while still working for the man, I founded LinkAdage Text Link Ads which started the link selling gold rush. I soon had to quit my “real” job and work my business full-time. By full-time I mean not a solid day off and away from a computer since 2003 except when I flew into Ukraine to find and bring home an adopted daughter in 2004. So if you want to someday run your own business, expect it to be part of who you are. Also, expect people that work 9 to 5 not to understand why you seem to be always working. The good news is, if you pick the right thing you will enjoy your work and success instead of dread Mondays and look forward to Fridays.

Most of what I work on can’t be discussed in detail because it involves taking advantage of the search engine algorithms and the last thing they need is a heads up.

After spending 12 years away in Houston and Atlanta, I am now located back near where I was born in Detroit, Michigan. Honestly, I really hate Michigan except for the short summer season of June, July, and August, the state does not have much to offer. The weather sucks, the economy sucks, and local networking with other web savvy individuals is almost nil. Unfortunately, everyone is either employed by a company that is somehow related to the dieing domestic auto industry or unemployed.

I graduated from Michigan State University and obtained my MBA and a MHA (Master of Health Care Administration) at Georgia State University during my time in Atlanta (a city that I absolutely love).
