O ver the next few days I’m going to test a new blog posting process. If you’ve been here recently you’ll have noticed that excerpts of my work at the Future Shop Techblog are being pulled in and posted as they appear on the Techblog. Which is a cool way for me to keep my work all together. But, as the title implies, I see a lot of stuff these days — much I’d like to write about either don’t have the time, or it’s simply not enough to build a full-up blog post.

Happy to report that the portfolio you now see to the right is completely dynamically generated and driven by XML and XSLT. I still need to work on details for some of the projects (if you click around and notice that some of them are empty or you get an error, that’s because I haven’t gotten around to fleshing them out yet. Facebook has massive fans and followers all over the world which this can be definitely a great source of incoming traffics if we able to expose our WordPress blog to its maximum level. One of the way is the by integrating the Facebook element into our WordPress blog. There are few ways to integrate it in especially through plugins. If you are wondering how to split test your Wordpress site, search no longer. Lee Wills has developed the SES split testing plugin for Wordpress themes. Instead of just split testing elements in Google Optimizer, this plugin allows you to split test whole themes. Just setup a Google Analytics account, install and activate the plugin and your visitors will randomly will see one of the chosen themes. You can then view which theme performs better in Google Analytics and increase your conversion rates.

I’m trying a new editor for my blog.  This is Windows Live Writer, a free component of Vista and Windows 7.  Using this program, I can create new blog posts from a stand-alone application and then publish the post when I am finished. The editor looks great, and because it is not running on my old, tired, slow server, it is quick.  This is a full test, with an image and the whole nine yards.  I have had problems with the latest version of the WordPress editor.  When I right-align an image, it goofs

Search engine helps you to generate traffic, but consequently Search Engine Optimization is very complicated, which beginners and expert bloggers dismay in joining such a strategy for achieving traffic. Starting a WordPress by default is pretty suitable at letting search engines see what’s happening.
