Microsoft will announce the integration of real time status updates from both Twitter and Facebook into Bing at the Web 2.0 Summit today, we’ve heard from a source with knowledge of the deals. The announcement will be made by Qi Lu , President of Microsoft’s Online Services Group, later this morning. The deals will integrate real time updates from users of the services into search results. Google and Bing aren’t good at pulling in this real time data today because of the need to constantly index user pages, and the difficulty in knowing when those pages have been updated.

MySpace Analytics for artistswebgrizzly.wordpress.com

Dear reader, Logging to my MySpace account tonight, I was delighted to see that MySpace has a new analytics dashboard for artists! Although it only shows little information for now such as song plays and friends’ demographics, it is definitely a move towards the right direction. I’m also delighted to see that different social media platforms are more and more beginning to collaborate – they know they have to. I enjoy being able to feed my Reverbnation.com status to my Twitter, MySpace and Facebook profiles as this simply saves time.

Shortly after Bing revealed its new Twitter search engine, which fully integrates tweets into Bing search results and incorporates Facebook data as well, Google’s Marissa Mayer announced that they will be launching a new Google product called Social Search. Not only does this announcement follow right behind Bing’s announcement, but it also (interestingly enough) falls right in line with an additional announcement of a recent Google/Twitter deal .
AN OBAMA GOVERNMENT? CONGRESS DO YOUR JOB!africanpress.wordpress.com

By Rev. Lainie Dowell OBAMA HAS NOT CHANGED! HE STILL DOES NOT LOVE AMERICA! How much does the United States Congress think Americans are willing to take from the Barack Hussein Obama Administration without their protecting us? We cannot even get a direct response from our elected leaders. The government offices that are paid for by taxpayer dollars have gotten worse as the day is long. Government employees act as if they are beholden to the man in the Office of the White House and not to the Constitution or the constituents.

The pressure to boost productivity in order to keep afloat, a lack of patience in understanding social networks, or just a general distrust of these tools – whatever the reasons, 54% of CIOs said their companies completely prohibit the use of social networks. This is according to a survey commissioned by Robert Half Technology of over 1,400 large US companies. Almost a fifth (19%) allowed it but solely for business purposes – it’s unclear how compliance was monitored.

Tweets in Bing, Googledailycasserole.com

Tweets from users on Twitter have hit the big-time: they’re now going to be featured in search results on Bing and Google. For those geeks among you who follow news from places like Twitter, Google and Microsoft (maker of Bing) like I do (it’s not a particularly scintillating life I lead…), you were no doubt enthralled with yesterday’s unfolding events. First there was this blog post by Biz Stone, Twitter’s chief: …there are already tens of thousands of Twitter apps and more to come because people want the choice to consume and create tweets wherever and whenever they prefer.

I have been an Internet marketer on and off, in between fatherhood and full time work for about 2 years now. The way I go about it is probably very familiar to you. I’ll research a market and find a niche, find a product that I think will sell, research the competition, find some good keywords, and work out how I’m going to drive traffic. Although, not necessarily in that order. Now, that’s a very basic outline of some of the steps involved as an affiliate marketer.
Introducing “Contextual Applications”blog.digitalbackcountry.com
10/22/2009
We did a soft launch with some information of a concept that Adrian Ludwig and some of the other brain-trust folks at Adobe came up with recently called Contextual Applications . I have absolutely fallen in love with this term (and I had nothing to do with thinking of it). In a lot of ways I think this is RIA 2.0. One of the problems with RIA was that it had a grossly vague definition. It was kind of a Frankenstein combination of a desktop-like user experience, better design, real-time communication, rich media, and Web 2.0 ideals.
