Or is it a valuable resource that should be continued at all costs. Many college business owners don’t even realize they have the choice of dropping out.

People say that starting your own business is difficult. Guess what? They’re not kidding. Starting a business, in many ways, is a lot like having a child – and would you just have a child without thinking it through first? Before you get started, there are lots of things you need to think about and discuss with anyone you can. Can You Afford to Fail? You might have heard the old saying ‘only gamble what you can afford to lose’. Well, however you approach it, starting your own business is still gambling.

No longer are business owners forced to take time out from their businesses to fend of the advances of a dozen, business-card-wielding serial networkers at some military-style event.

Why shouldn’t Congress rush through legislation? Because this is how you get numerous loop holes and wasteful government spending. I have to go buy dark circle cream for my eyes due to the amount of sleep I lose over this type of stupid spending. It seems that there is no limit of the number of electric cars you can buy and get a tax credit of $5,500 from the Federal Government. Unfortunately, this tax credit applies to golf carts as well.

Delegating is one of the best ways to handle working mothers stress and give yourself more time, energy and money. It’s also a key element in getting important things done to move your business forward. I am such a believer in the importance of delegating and having a team of people to support you. I come from the mindset of a mother of three children with so much to do. I know that many of the women entrepreneurs I talk to certainly relate to this – you’ve got a business, you’ve got children so you’re pulled in various directions.

Persistence and dedication will pay off in the long run. Blogs offer you a more personal interface with your audience. An interface that lets you ask questions, give answers and even discuss online. Blogs permit you to offer an opinion or merely rant or rave about something.

The title of this post is somewhat misleading – designed to be provocative to get you to read what I have to say. Indeed, I am going to defend Goldman Sach’s right to pay what it likes to its employees. But, I am also going to defend your right to be outraged and to look for redress. Socialism? Let’s start this off with another provocative statement which encapsulates my thinking on the issue: The teabaggers who showed up in the summer at Town Hall meetings to shout down politicians and scream ‘socialism’ at anyone who would listen because Barack Obama was going to pull the plug on granny need to redirect their anger.
