Lately my PC has became extremely slow. It boots up in about 10 minutes and it takes forever to launch programs. The thing is the small red wire that connects hard-drive with motherboard is very short. Like really short. Computer sometimes boots up faster if I push the both ends in. It’s pretty twisted too it makes S shape to connect to motherboard. The reason is my new video card which is much larger than my old one and so takes up more space. I’m thinking of getting a new cable tomorrow.

I have for the last weeks tested the F-Secure Client Security 9.0 BETA. I have only tested it on Windows 7 x64 systems but it seems to work great! Until now i have only experienced one little problem whit the Firewall. I was going to open for RDP (Remote desktop protocol), and Windows file sharing. Created one rule for the RDP and it worked fine, and then I created the file sharing rule and nothing happens. Waited for about 10 minutes, and still nothing. So i had to reboot my system to get the the rule to work.

Yes, I’m just the kind of person who went out yesterday and bought Apple’s new operating system Snow Leopard and have spent the majority of last night and today playing around with the new features and setting my computer back up (since I decided to do a totally clean install and reformatted my hard drive before installing—of course, that was after making a series of backups). You certainly don’t have to go through the effort that I did and if you are upgrading, you should be just fine upgrading on top of your current system and thereby keeping all your files and settings.
