Linkfluence : How To Buy Links With Maximum Juice and Minimum Risk
Back in July I wrote a post called “Just Say No To SEO Conferences”. I had planned to take the year off the conference circuit and definitely did not want to speak on a panel about buying links again. It’s not like I don’t like giving my secrets away – there are plenty of links to be bought and sold in this market so everyone that wants to earn a living doing text link advertising can do so if they get their customers in good safe links. What I don’t like is that other panelists on the “How to buy links” panels dance around the topic and really give out no good information on how to buy links.
Anyway, last month I received a phone call from my partner asking me why I didn’t tell him I was speaking at PubCon. I told him I wasn’t, but after checking, sure enough, I am on the panel called: “Linkfluence : How To Buy Links With Maximum Juice and Minimum Risk”. I made a quick call to Brett at WebMasterWorld and sure enough there was some kind of a database problem and I am set to speak. I respect Brett Tabke more than most in the SEO world and did not want to leave him hanging, I agreed to fly into Vegas anyway and give a presentation.
Once again, I see the same thing as other years already happening. I got an email this weekend from one of the other panelists about how he is going to speak about getting links without really buying them… This is fine if the panel was called “Link Building” and not “Link Buying”. It looks like once again I may be the only one that speaks to the topic and tells people how to buy links. Talk about sticking out like a sore thumb… ugh.
Anyway, I will stay on topic and tell the audience: How To Buy Links With Maximum Juice and Minimum Risk. The safe link buying technique I will explain is so simple, so easy, I will have a problem dragging it out past 10 minutes so do not be late in case I go first! The session is on Nov 13 between 11:30a 12:45p.
Also, if you’re at PubCon, tap me on the shoulder and say hi. I am going to make an effort to stay away from my normal conference buddies and meet new people and share ideas. No clicks for me (pun intended).
