Wordpress RSS Plug-In|RSSdoodle

A few months ago I was searching for a WordPress plug-in that would allow me to pull in mashups of relevant RSS feeds on a regular basis that I could add to this blog. I found a few RSS plug-ins but none offered the features I wanted and were way too complex to get up and running. I like plug-ins that are plug and play with no over the top setup routines. Then I started thinking about my easy to use plug-in Twitterdoodle and wondered if an “RSSdoodle” that pulls RSS feeds based on keywords/keyword phrases could be created.

Busted! Paid Link Detector

Making brokers nervous and making news in the paid link sector is the “Paid Link Detector”. I see it accurately spots paid links by some of the low end brokers that we already know sell worthless links, but LinkXL.com and LinkAdage text links are as natural as ever.

There are a few Paid Link Detectors out there, but most look at link relevance and page location and guess. This is the first tool I have seen that actually spots links via a page serving trick they exploited. If this low budget site can do it, you know Google can do it so be careful where you buy your links.

The bottom line is, stay away from the garbage link sellers and stay with high quality link sellers like (shameless plug) LinkXL.com and LinkAdage.
